The MSI PRO B850M-P WIFI is a Micro-ATX motherboard for Socket AM5, built on the AMD B850 chipset and compatible with AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series desktop processors.
Key features
It has four DDR5 DIMM slots in dual-channel mode, rated up to 8200+ MT/s with overclocking, and a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphics card plus three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.
Storage options are generous for the size: one M.2 Gen5 x4 slot, one M.2 Gen4 x4 slot, one M.2 Gen4 x2 slot and four SATA 6Gb/s ports. The EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II heatsink installs without tools.
Networking includes Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4 and 5G wired LAN. USB connectivity covers three 10Gbps ports (one Type-A, two Type-C), six 5Gbps Type-A ports and eight USB 2.0 ports, and HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs are available for processors with integrated graphics.
Other features include 7.1-channel HD audio with Audio Boost, a pre-installed I/O shield, an extended PWM heatsink and a Clear CMOS button.
