The MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI is an ATX motherboard for Socket AM5 on the AMD B850 chipset, supporting AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series desktop processors.
Key features
Four DDR5 DIMM slots run in dual channel with support up to DDR5-8400+ MT/s (OC).
Expansion includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot with EZ PCIe Release, a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Storage covers two M.2 Gen5 x4 slots, one Gen4 x4 slot, one Gen4 x2 slot and four SATA 6Gb/s ports, with the tool-less EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4, 5G LAN, one USB 20Gbps Type-C port, five USB 10Gbps ports (two Type-A, three Type-C), five USB 5Gbps Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.1 output for processors with integrated graphics.
MSI's extended heatsink design and Core Boost layout support high-core-count processors, and Audio Boost 5 provides 7.1-channel HD audio.
