The GIGABYTE B650E EAGLE WIFI6E is an ATX motherboard for Socket AM5, supporting AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series desktop processors. GIGABYTE lists the chipset as AMD B650; with Ryzen 9000/7000 processors the main x16 slot runs at PCIe 5.0.
Key features
Four DDR5 DIMM sockets support up to 256GB in dual-channel mode, with speeds up to DDR5-8200 (OC) and AMD EXPO and Intel XMP memory profiles.
There are three M.2 slots: the first CPU-connected slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4 SSDs with Ryzen 9000/7000 processors, the second CPU-connected slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4, and the third runs from the chipset at PCIe 4.0 x2. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports are also provided.
Networking is handled by a Realtek 2.5GbE LAN chip and a Wi-Fi 6E module with Bluetooth 5.3, covering the 2.4, 5 and 6GHz bands.
